Pune Crime News: Harassed By In-laws, Another Married Woman Dies By Suicide
Pune, August 11, 2025: A distressing incident has come to light from Pune’s Ambegaon Pathar area, where Sneha Vishal Zandge died by suicide at her residence.
According to reports, Sneha ended her life by hanging herself after allegedly facing harassment from her in-laws. A case has been registered at Bharati Vidyapeeth Police Station following demands from her family for strict action against the accused.
Just days earlier, another young woman, Vaishnavi Hagawane, had also died by suicide in Pune after reportedly enduring mental harassment and dowry pressure from her affluent in-laws. The fresh tragedy has once again highlighted the issue of domestic abuse against women in the city.
Sneha’s grieving parents have demanded serious charges against her husband and his family members. Following their complaint, police have registered a case against her husband Vishal Zandge, father-in-law Sanjay Zandge, mother-in-law Vithabai Zandge, brother-in-law Vinayak Zandge, sister-in-law Tejashree Thite, her husband Parmeshwar Thite, and the father-in-law’s brother-in-law, Bhausaheb Kolhal.
