The unit has been ordered to suspend operations until further orders.

* Solapur: A surprise inspection at Ajinkyarana Milk Industries, Sangola, found multiple violations, including the absence of purchase and sale records, operating without a valid licence, and breaches of food safety regulations. Officials collected samples, seized 37,532 litres of milk worth ₹15.01 lakh, destroyed the stock, and ordered the chilling centre to cease operations until further notice.

In a separate action in Satara district, acting on confidential information, the FDA raided a cattle shed owned by Dilip Bhimrao Bhosale at Hol village in Phaltan taluka. Officials allegedly found whey permeate powder, spray-dried instant tea/coffee creamer, and other substances being used for milk adulteration. An FIR (No. 415/2026) has been registered at Phaltan Police Station against five persons, including the cattle owner and powder suppliers. Further investigation is underway.

The FDA stated that strict action against food businesses operating without licences, violating food safety regulations, or selling adulterated and substandard food products will continue.
