A 24-year-old food delivery agent died after falling from the terrace of a two-storey building in Kalewadi, Pune late on Saturday.
According to police, the deceased was a resident of Kaspate Vasti in Wakad. The man was intoxicated at the time of the incident.
He came to Kalewadi in an inebriated condition and started abusing two men passing by on the road. He also picked up a brick and threatened to hit them.
The two men tried to talk to him, but he ran away and climbed onto the terrace of a nearby two-storey building. “Once there, he lost his balance and fell,” the official added.
Locals rushed him to a hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
Police have registered a case of accidental death. “Our investigation is ongoing,” officials said.
