Pune : Jay Suryavanshi honored with Dr Saleel Kulkarni Sangeet Sadhana Award

Pune, February 16, 2024: This year’s Dr Saleel Kulkarni Sangeet Sadhana Award, given on behalf of Pune’s Global Star Foundation, was presented to a young piano artist, Jay Suryavanshi. The award was presented at the hands of renowned music composer, and director Dr Saleel Kulkarni in a program organized in the auditorium of Modern College, Shivajinagar. This being the 10th edition of the award, it was presented in the form of a memento and a certificate.

Dignitaries like Sarika Shende; Founder President of Global Star Foundation, Mahantesh Naik; Secretary, Manish Sabade; Entrepreneur, Ranjit Natu; Chartered Accountant, Bhajan Samrat Abhinav Gandharva, Pt. Raghunath Khandalkar, Tanmay Deochakke; a well-known Harmonium player, and Girish Murudkar of Bharat Flag Foundation were present on the occasion.  

Dr Saleel Kulkarni appreciated Sarika Shende of the Global Star Foundation for initiating various activities for children for the last 10 years. Jay Suryavanshi won the hearts of the audience by performing Western classical and jazz on the piano, followed by Shubhankar Kulkarni and Dr Saleel Kulkarni’s heartwarming performances.
