Pune: Jyotsna Bhole Swarotsav To Be Held On July 14 And 15
Pune, July 11, 2026: A two-day music festival, Jyotsna Bhole Swarotsav, has been jointly organised by Srujan Foundation and Nanded City to pay tribute to the memory of renowned vocalist Jyotsna Bhole.
The festival will be held on July 14 and 15 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Tilak Smarak Mandir on Tilak Road. This is 15 consecutive edition of the festival. There is no entry fee for the festival.

On the first day of the festival, noted Hindustani classical vocalist Pandit Anand Bhate, a disciple of Bharat Ratna Pandit Bhimsen Joshi and Abhishek Kale, will present a recital of Natyasangeet (Marathi musical theatre songs).
The second day’s program will commence with a Hindustani classical vocal recital by Deepika Bhide Bhagwat, followed by a Sarod recital by renowned sarod maestro Abhishek Borkar. The festival will conclude with a vocal performance by Pandit Mukul Shivputra.
On the opening day, eminent compere and author Shaila Mukund Athavale will be honoured with the Prakash Paygude Memorial Award. The award comprises a shawl, a ceremonial coconut, a bouquet, a memento, and a cash prize of ₹10,000. This is the third consecutive year of the award. Previous recipients include veteran violinist Pandit Atulkumar Upadhye and renowned compere and author Mangala Khadilkar.
The accompanying artistes participating in the festival include Uday Kulkarni (harmonium), Pandurang Pawar (tabla), Suyog Kundalkar (harmonium), Bharat Kamat (tabla), Abhishek Ravande (harmonium), Yati Bhagwat (tabla), Rohit Mujumdar (tabla), and Sunil Jaiphalkar (tabla). Ravindra Khare will serve as the compere for the festival.
