Residents of Kalyani Nagar were disturbed in the early hours of November 2 when a group of company employees allegedly set off firecrackers around 3:00 AM near Cerebrum IT Park on Dmart Lane. The loud noise disrupted the peace, especially affecting senior citizens and patients, who reported feeling distressed and unsettled.
According to locals, the employees continued setting off firecrackers despite repeated requests to stop, citing health concerns and the need for sleep. Residents were frustrated by the lack of response and are questioning the company’s commitment to being a responsible neighbor.
One resident who confronted the group described the scene: “Most of them left after an hour when they realized we wouldn’t back down. We called the police at 3:30 AM, but they didn’t arrive until 4:40 AM due to being busy with another case. Some even claimed on video that they were allowed to burst firecrackers for five days. It’s disappointing to see such disregard for others.”
Now, residents plan to file complaints with local authorities, urging immediate action to prevent future incidents and ensure that their neighborhood remains peaceful and safe.
