Pune: La Ventana CHS On NIBM Road In Kondhwa Goes Green With New Solar Power Plant
La Ventana Cooperative Housing Society (CHS), located on NIBM Road in Kondhwa, Pune, proudly announces the successful installation of its new 60 kW solar power plant. This significant step towards environmental sustainability and cost efficiency underscores the society’s commitment to resident well-being and environmental responsibility.
The solar plant is designed to power common areas, including lifts, pumps, and other essential equipment, thereby drastically reducing the society’s reliance on conventional energy sources and shrinking its carbon footprint. This initiative not only contributes to environmental conservation but also results in substantial cost savings for the residents.
The project was implemented by the Society’s team comprising Dhirendra Kumar Singh, Mahendra Ahire, Anand Iyer, Nitin Karandikar and Sachin Lohakare. The
solar panel installation was done carried by Jayesh Akole from Windsun Eco System,
The inauguration of the Solar Power Plant was done on 16 May 2025 by the Society’s senior member, Col. Mukesh Anand.
“We are excited about the environmental and economic benefits this brings,” commented La Ventana Society’s chairman D K Singh, highlighting the dual advantages of the initiative.
