Pune: City-based organization Connecting Trust, which works towards suicide prevention through counseling and emotional support, has organized a special event titled ‘Listening to the Voices of Women’ on Saturday, March 29, 2025, from 4 PM to 6 PM at Aurora Towers, M.G. Road, Pune.

The event will feature Meher Pudumjee, Chairperson of Thermax Group, as the chief guest, and a panel discussion where prominent women leaders and activists will share their insights. The panel will include Adv. Archana More, trustee of Samajwadi Mahila Sabha, Sister Lucy Kurien, founder of Maher Foundation, Kadambari Shaikh, a transgender social activist, Barkha Bajaj, founder of AKS Foundation, and Corina Manuel, Editor-in-Chief of Pune Times Mirror & Civic Mirror.

Connecting Trust has been actively working towards mental health awareness, suicide prevention, and emotional well-being through various programs, including interactive sessions, survivor support initiatives, and a dedicated helpline service that offers free and confidential emotional support.

The organization ensures a safe and non-judgmental space where individuals can express themselves freely without fear of being judged or given unsolicited advice.
