Pune: Mahadji Shinde Chhatri In Wanowrie To Observe Panipat Bravery Day TodayÂ
Pune, January 14, 2025: To commemorate the 265th anniversary of the historic Battle of Panipat, a special event, Panipat Bravery Day, is being organized at Mahadji Shinde Chhatri in Wanwadi, Pune. The program will pay tribute to the Maratha warriors who sacrificed their lives in the battle. The programme will be held today on January 14, 2025, 4 PM at Mahadji Shinde Chhatri, Wanwadi, Pune.Â
As part of the ceremony, statues of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, destined for installation in Japan and New York, will be ceremonially sent off. Additionally, the program will mark the first death anniversary of Madhaviraje Scindia, the mother of Jyotiraditya Scindia and Maharani of Gwalior, with a tribute in her memory.
Chhatrapati Udayan Maharaj Bhosale, a direct descendant of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, and Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia have been invited as special guests for the event. Union Minister of State Murlidhar Mohol will preside over the ceremony.
The event is organized under the leadership of Uttamrao Shinde Sarkar, aiming to celebrate the valor of Maratha history and honor those who have contributed to preserving its legacy.
