In a bid to ensure a safe and smooth commute, Pune Metro has issued guidelines for passengers to refrain from carrying certain prohibited items while traveling. The reminder comes from MahaMetro, encouraging citizens to comply for an uninterrupted experience on Pune Metro.

According to the guidelines, items such as fireworks, flammable substances like petrol, diesel, and chemical substances are strictly prohibited. These items pose safety hazards and can disrupt the journey if detected. Sharp objects, including knives, are also restricted, as they may be deemed dangerous in transit.

Passengers are further advised to avoid carrying alcoholic beverages and cigarettes, including e-cigarettes and other tobacco products. These substances not only create inconvenience but also violate safety regulations set by Pune Metro.

Additionally, passengers are discouraged from bringing pets, birds, and gas cylinders onboard. These items are seen as potential risks and may cause discomfort to other passengers.
