Pune: Moitree Sangha Foundation’s Kali Pujo Celebrates Culture And Unity
Moitree Sangha Foundation , West Pune, hosted a remarkable Kali Pujo celebration on October 31 this year, at the Fire Brigade Ground in Life Republic, West Pune. The event featured a special tribute to the legendary music composer Rahul Dev Burman, with multiple talented singers, including “Sa Re Ga Ma” winner Pranita Dasgupta Deshpande, performing her iconic songs. Their performances created a nostalgic and joyous atmosphere, celebrating Burman’s legacy through music.
The celebration continued on November 1 with the distribution of Mahaprasad, reaching over 700 attendees, and drawing more than 1,500 visitors on Pujo night. The event saw an overwhelming response from the community, attracting not only the Bengali and Marathi communities but also participants from diverse backgrounds across Pune and beyond.This year’s Kali Pujo has become a unique milestone for Moitree Sangha Foundation, fostering a spirit of unity and cultural exchange and leaving an indelible mark on the local community.
