Pune: Naren Hills Society In Wanowrie Celebrates Christmas With Joy And Festive Cheer
On the evening of December 22 at 7:00 PM, the residents of Naren Hills Society gathered for a heartwarming Christmas celebration, filled with festive spirit and community unity. Organized by
Asha Care Fellowship, a non-profit organization dedicated to community care and counseling, the event brought together families, friends, and neighbors in an atmosphere of joy and togetherness.
The celebration featured a variety of activities, including lively dances, skits, and soul-stirring carols, all reflecting the core message of Christmas: hope, peace, and goodwill. Central to the evening’s festivities was the focus on the spirit of the season, symbolized by the story of the birth of
Christ, which continues to inspire millions across the world.

The performances, largely led by youth volunteers from Asha Care Fellowship, captured the essence of Christmas in a unique and engaging way. “Christmas is about sharing love and kindness,” said Arambh Gurung, a volunteer with the fellowship. “We wanted to celebrate the season with a mix of traditional and contemporary elements—everything from Hindi carols to a lively, Bollywood-style Tamil Christmas song, and even a nativity scene that reflected the joy and hope of the occasion.”
The residents of Naren Hills Society were deeply moved by the celebrations. “It was a beautiful blend of creativity and tradition,” said Sachin Pathe, a resident. “The music, dances, and performances were uplifting, and the message of hope was felt by everyone.”
A special highlight of the evening was the nativity scene, which portrayed the birth of Christ in a simple yet powerful way. This symbolic representation reminded everyone of the timeless message of peace, love, and unity that Christmas brings to communities around the world.
“Christmas is a time to reflect on the values of love, compassion, and togetherness,” said Sheela Shetty, Secretary and Managing Trustee of Asha Care Fellowship. “At Asha Care, we are committed to building a community where people support one another, and this celebration was a beautiful
reminder of the importance of coming together in peace and harmony. We are grateful to the residents of Naren Hills Society for embracing this spirit and making this evening so memorable.”
As the event came to a close, the sense of joy and togetherness lingered, leaving everyone with hearts full of gratitude. The evening ended on a hopeful note, with many looking forward to future opportunities to gather as a community and share in the joy of the season.
