Pune News : Construction site supervisor stabbed to death, body thrown from fifth floor in Raheja Sterling Tower on NIBM Road

In a tragic incident at a construction site in Pune’s Kondhwa NIBM Annex area in Raheja Sterling Tower A 4 society, unidentified individuals fatally stabbed a supervisor before tossing his body from the fifth floor into a duct. The victim, identified as Pankaj Kumar Moti Kashyap, aged 35 and a resident of Krishnanagar, Mohammadwadi, was originally from Uttar Pradesh and employed as a supervisor at the construction site.

According to Senior Police Inspector Santosh Sonwane, the altercation occurred on Tuesday night while the deceased was socializing with friends on the third floor. The dispute escalated, leading to the accused stabbing him with a knife before allegedly throwing him from the fifth floor.

Tragically, Pankaj Kumar became lodged in the duct on the third floor, sustaining fatal injuries. His body was discovered by workers at the site on Wednesday afternoon, prompting them to alert the authorities. The police retrieved the body, which has been sent to Sassoon Hospital for post-mortem examination.

The Kondhwa police are currently searching for the assailant, aiming to bring those responsible for this heinous crime to justice.
