Pune News : PMC to repair 15 roads in 3 phases

Pune: Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) will repair 15 important roads of Pune city under ‘Mission 15’. The work will be done in 3 phases.

Speaking to Pune Pulse, Sahebrao Dandge, Superintendent Engineer, PMC Road Department, said, “The 15 roads will become free of issues such as encroachment, unauthorized works on roads etc. for which we are going to assign various teams for monitoring these. Also, along with getting rid of common road issues like potholes etc. repairing footpaths, repairing or installing light poles, removal of planting trees in dividers etc. will be done.  For 15 roads, there will be 15 teams composed of police personnel and others. The road repair work has already begun, however, the Mission 15 teams will be assigned on these 15 roads in the next 8 to 10 days.”
