Pune: In a tragic accident, a woman lost her life as a speeding vehicle hit her near Navale Bridge. The deceased has been identified as Lalita Vijay Bora, a 65-year-old resident of Ambegaon Budruk.
An FIR has been registered against the accused identified as Anirudh Khairnar, a resident of Dombivali in Thane district. As per the information provided, a complaint has been lodged at the Bharati Vidyapeeth police station regarding this incident.
As per the information received, Bora was passing through the connecting Katraj Chowk and Navale Bridge. While crossing the road in the vicinity of Ambegaon Budruk a speeding vehicle hit her, resulting in critical injuries.
Speaking to Pune Pulse, Vinayak Gaikwad, Bharati Vidyapeeth Police Station added, ”A thorough investigation is being carried out in this case. An FIR has been registered against Thane residents under sections 304(a), 338, etc.”
