The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has announced extended hours for public parks across the city in celebration of Kojagiri Pournima on October 16, 2024. The Garden Department will keep the parks open later than usual, allowing citizens to enjoy the festive night under the full moon.

A total of 211 parks, aquariums, and zoological museums within the PMC area will operate during special hours for the occasion. These parks serve as important recreational spaces for Pune residents, children, and visitors. To accommodate Kojagiri Pournima celebrations, the parks will be open from 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM and again from 4:30 PM until midnight.

The Garden Department encourages residents to take advantage of the extended hours to celebrate in the serene and natural surroundings of the city’s parks. The initiative aims to promote a healthy lifestyle and foster a sense of community engagement as citizens gather to mark this traditional festival.
