Pune News : Rotary Club of Pune Professionals held tree plantation drive in Kharadi

Rotary Club of Pune Professionals in association with Vcreatek Consulting Services Pvt Ltd. conducted tree plantation drive at the forest area allocated near Kharadi area adjacent to Radisson Blu Hotel on July 13, Thursday, 2023. 

“In today’s scenario with global warming on the rise, tree plantation especially in urban areas is the need of the hour” was the opinion of Club President, Rtn. Sonal Somani.

This early morning task was conducted by the members of the Rotary Club of Pune Professionals, team of vCreatek led by Rtn. Abhishek Rathi and in the presence along with support by AG Rtn. Phiroze Masters.
Trees planted were of different types; seasonal fruits like chikoo, mulberry, guava, vegetables and other trees like neem, kathal to name a few. This would not facilitate fresh air, beautiful surroundings but also will be a humble abode to birds chirping in the morning.

The project was not only performed meticulously by this team of professionals, it is also strategically planned for survival in future as well.
The club, though formed recently, is looking forward to more such impact making projects in the upcoming months and years to come for the community.
