The event came to light after IAS trainee officer Pooja Khedkar brought attention to another serious issue at YCM, where she was incorrectly issued a disability certificate. The recent case involves a woman who gave birth at YCM Hospital, and the newborn was declared dead shortly after birth. A death certificate was promptly issued. However, the baby was found to be alive and receiving treatment in the ICU, as documented in hospital records.
