Pune News: Traffic Restrictions For Heavy Vehicles On Mumbai-Bengaluru Highway Ahead Of Ladki Bahin Yojana Programme In Balewadi
Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Ministers Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar, along with several ministers and other VIPs, are expected to attend the event. A large number of citizens will also arrive in private vehicles. To prevent traffic congestion on the Mumbai-Bengaluru Highway, heavy vehicles will be prohibited from 6 AM to 8 PM on Saturday. Heavy vehicles will not be allowed on the Mumbai-Bengaluru Highway between Chandani Chowk and Urse Toll Plaza. Similarly, heavy vehicles coming from Chakan via Pimpri-Chinchwad to the Bengaluru Highway will be restricted.
There will be a ban on heavy vehicles traveling from Pune to Mumbai via the Mumbai-Bengaluru Highway. Additionally, heavy vehicles coming via Talegaon and Dehuroad to the Mumbai-Bengaluru Highway will also be restricted, with exceptions for essential services and vehicles attending the event.

**Pune Police Divert Traffic on Baner Road:**
Vehicles traveling from University Chowk to Radha Chowk (Balewadi) via Baner Road should turn left at Ganraj Chowk and proceed via Kia Showroom Underpass or Nanaware Underpass.
Vehicles traveling on Baner Road from the Mumbai-Bengaluru Bypass should turn left at Balewadi Check Post and proceed via High Street to reach Ganraj Chowk.
Vehicles traveling from Pune city towards Hinjewadi, Wakad, and Lonavala to Mumbai should avoid Baner Road from University Chowk and instead use Pashan Road via Chandani Chowk or Aundh Road from University Chowk.
There will be a ban on heavy vehicles on Saturday from 12:00 AM to 12:00 AM on routes including University Chowk to Chandani Chowk-Pashan Road, University Chowk to Radha Chowk-Baner Road, and University Chowk to Rajiv Gandhi Bridge-Aundh Road.
