Pune: A policeman from Uruli Kanchan police station has been accused of demanding sexual favors from a woman delivering tiffins to the police mess.

The allegation was made by Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) deputy leader Sushma Andhare, who also shared a video related to the incident.
According to Andhare, the accused officer was intoxicated at the time and allegedly used his uniform to intimidate the woman. When she refused, he quickly changed his stance.
However, when she attempted to file a complaint, the police station reportedly declined to register it.
The incident has sparked outrage, especially in light of a recent case where a young woman was sexually assaulted inside an MSRTC bus at Swargate Stand.
Investigations into that case revealed the accused had a history of targeting multiple women, exposing significant lapses in law enforcement.
Despite the serious nature of the allegations, Pune Police has yet to release an official statement on the matter.
