Pune News : World Mission Society Church of God’s ASEZ WAO conducts cleanliness drive on Salunkhe Vihar road

Pune: World Mission Society Church of God’s ASEZ WAO organized a cleanliness drive and awareness campaign to reduce plastic in Salunkhe Vihar, Pune City East on Sunday. The event, part of the 7312th World Environment Clean-up Mission, was carried out by the youth volunteers of ASEZ WAO, a global organization dedicated to social awareness and environmental protection.

Approximately 60 youth volunteers participated in the campaign, holding signboards with messages about reducing plastic usage. The event took place from 9 am to 11 am and aimed to raise awareness about the importance of cleanliness and environmental preservation. The initiative received support from Pune Municipal Corporation’s Assistant Commissioner, Shyam Taru, and esteemed guests including Senior Health Inspector Nisar Mujawar, Health Inspectors Sanjay Salunkhe and Sandeep Rokade, and community members Mukdam Bapu Adagale and Ashish Sanpkal.

With a presence in 175 countries and 7500 churches, the World Mission Society Church of God is an international volunteer organization committed to environmental conservation. The ASEZ WAO, composed of enthusiastic youth volunteers, works tirelessly to protect the environment and promote a sustainable future.
