The Vasantik Uti and Mogra Festival was celebrated with great devotion this year at the Shreemant Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati Temple in Pune. On this special occasion, the temple premises and the idol of Lord Ganesha were beautifully decorated with flowers. Pune residents gathered in large numbers to witness the stunning floral arrangements.

For this grand floral decoration, approximately 50 lakh jasmine flowers were used, along with roses, marigolds, lilies, hibiscus, champa, chrysanthemums, and many other colorful flowers. The celebration was jointly organized by the Shreemant Dagdusheth Halwai Public Ganpati Trust and Suvarnayug Tarun Mandal.

Preparations for this spectacle had been underway for the past two days. A team of 140 women and 80 male artisans worked hard to decorate the entire temple with flowers. According to Trust President Sunil Rasne, the decoration included 3,000 bundles of roses, 1,500 bundles of lilies, 1,400 kg of marigolds, 1,500 kg of chrysanthemums, 1,000 kg of gulchadi, 20,000 champa flowers, 100 kg of rose petals, along with jasmine, lotus, hibiscus, and many other flowers.
