Pune, July 4, 2026: The Kalepadal Police have busted an illegal liquor operation in Pune’s Pisoli area and seized liquor and related materials worth ₹75,80,039, arresting two persons involved in the racket.

According to Kalepadal Police Station officials, acting on specific intelligence received by Police Constables Mahadev Shinde and Atul Pandharkar, a police team conducted a raid at a farmhouse in Pisoli. The raid revealed that the accused were allegedly storing and selling stolen and illegally procured liquor.

During the operation, police apprehended two accused identified as Anis Satyad and his associate Saad Satyad. The police recovered 2 four-wheelers, two two-wheelers, 12 mobile phones, 58 liquor cartons, loose liquor bottles and other materials, with the total value of the seized property estimated at ₹75,80,039.

A case has been registered at Kalepadal Police Station under Crime Register No. 292/2026 for offences under the relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and the Maharashtra Prohibition Act, 1949. Further investigation is being carried out by Police Sub-Inspector Amit Shote.

The operation was conducted under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone 5) Rajkumar NavnireAssistant Commissioner of Police (Hadapsar Division) Girish Nimbalkar, and Senior Police Inspector Girish Nimbalkar of Kalepadal Police Station, with the support of the crime detection team and other police personnel.
