Pune : PM Modi to inaugurate Ruby Hall to Ramwadi Metro stretch

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will open several major metro sections in various national cities, marking a major step towards enhancing urban connectivity and transportation infrastructure. The inauguration ceremony will signify the conclusion of construction and the start of operations on several metro routes, which will improve public transportation networks.

·         The Prime Minister will inaugurate Kolkata Metro’s Howrah Maidan – Esplanade Metro section, Kavi Subhash – Hemanta Mukhopadhyay Metro section, Taratala – Majerhat Metro section (part of Joka – Esplanade line).

·         The Prime Minister will inaugurate Pune Metro from Ruby Hall Clinic to Ramwadi stretch.

·         The Prime Minister will inaugurate Kochi Metro Rail Phase I Extension project (Phase IB) from SN Junction Metro station to Tripunithura Metro station.

·         The Prime Minister will inaugurate Agra Metro’s stretch from Taj East Gate to Mankameshwar.

·         The Prime Minister will inaugurate Duhai-Modinagar (North) section of Delhi-Meerut RRTS Corridor.

In this way, PM Modi will flag off train services on these sections.

The Prime Minister will also lay the foundation stone of extension of Pune Metro Rail project phase 1 between Pimpri Chinchwad Metro-Nigdi.

Though there is no official communication, it is learnt that the much awaited inauguration of the metro line is planned.
