Pune: PMC Announces Water Supply Disruption on February 28. Check if your area is affected
The Water Supply Department of the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has announced a temporary water supply shutdown in several areas on Friday, February 28, 2025, due to urgent repairs on the main water pipeline connected to the Chandan Nagar water tank.
This will affect the water supply in Kharadi, Chandan Nagar, and Vadgaon Sheri, including localities such as Anand Park, Sunita Nagar, Ganesh Nagar, Swami Samarth, Namdev Nagar, Mate Nagar, Punya Nagari, Mahavir Nagar, Munawar Society, and Malwadi. Water supply will be completely shut down in these areas for the entire day.
Even after the repairs are completed on Saturday, March 1, 2025, residents in these areas may experience low water pressure and delayed supply.
The PMC advises residents to store enough water in advance and cooperate with the authorities during this period.
The repair work is essential to ensure better and uninterrupted water distribution in the future.
