Pune, January 9, 2026: In preparation for the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) General Elections 2025–26, the civic administration on Thursday launched the official election website, pmcvotersearch, aimed at facilitating citizens, voters and candidates with easy access to election-related information.

The website was formally inaugurated by Municipal Commissioner Naval Kishor Ram. Developed specifically for the upcoming civic polls, the platform provides comprehensive information related to the voter list in a timely, transparent and centralised manner.

Along with the website, the communication plan for the PMC elections was also unveiled during the event. The initiative is expected to enhance voter awareness, improve accessibility to election data and streamline communication between the election administration and stakeholders.

Several senior officials were present at the launch, including Additional Municipal Commissioner (Special) Omprakash Divte, Deputy Election Officer Prasad Katkar, Head of Tax Assessment and Collection Ravi Pawar, Deputy Commissioner (General Administration) Vijay Thorat, Deputy Commissioner Zone No. 5 Nikhil More, and Deputy Commissioner, Information and Public Relations Department Tushar Babar, among others.

The PMC stated that the pmcvotersearch website will play a key role in ensuring transparency and convenience throughout the election process, benefiting voters and candidates alike.
