Pune: PMC To Host 44th Fruits, Flowers & Vegetable Exhibition On February 14–15, 2026 At Sambhaji Garden
Pune, January 22, 2026: The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has announced that its 44th annual Fruits, Flowers and Vegetable Exhibition will be held on February 14 and 15, 2026, at Chhatrapati Sambhaji Raje Garden, Jangli Maharaj Road, Shivajinagar. The event is being organized to mark PMC’s anniversary. The exhibition will be inaugurated on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at 11:00 am.
The initiative aims to promote awareness on the importance of trees and plants in human life, encourage gardening activities, and support private and public organizations engaged in horticulture. PMC organizes this exhibition every year through its Garden Department and Tree Authority.
The 2026 exhibition will feature 12 main categories and 38 sub-categories. Displays will include ornamental foliage plants, medicinal plant collections, roses, floral arrangements, seasonal flowers, table decorations, salads, processed fruit and vegetable products, garlands, bouquets, gajras, and other floral creations. Seasonal and perennial flowering plants such as Dahlias, Orchids, Anthuriums, Gerberas, Roses and Carnations will be key highlights.
Replica garden models will also be showcased during the exhibition. Prize distribution for winners of various competitions linked to the exhibition will take place on February 15, 2026, at 5:00 pm at the same venue.
Participants will include PMC departments such as Environment, Solid Waste Management, Projects, Rajiv Gandhi Zoological Park, along with institutions like NDA, CME, Forest Department, Tilak Ayurveda College, Pushkarani and Friends of Bonsai.
The exhibition will also feature bonsai art, wood sculptures, feature gardens, paper craft and various floral artworks. Awareness themes such as “Plant and Save Trees,” “My Earth,” and “Use More Cycles” will be showcased. A dedicated photo gallery will also be open for visitors.
Stalls will offer saplings, seedlings, gardening tools, seeds, fertilizers, and other horticulture materials for sale. Citizens can visit and purchase items between 8:00 am and 8:30 pm on both exhibition days.
The event is free and open to all citizens, and PMC has urged maximum public participation.
