Pune: PMC to Soon Gift Exciting Rewards for Timely Property Tax Payment
Pune Municipal Corporation's Revenue Soars to ₹ 2,300 Crore from Building Permissions in 2023-24
The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) is poised to unveil the recipients of its reward program, acknowledging those who dutifully paid their property taxes by the July 31st deadline. Earlier, the programme was scheduled to take place on August 17, but it has now been postponed till Sunday, August 20.
Scheduled shortly, the online draw for the prize initiative introduced by the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) to incentivize prompt property tax payments will take place. Participants stand a chance to win an array of prizes valued at approximately one crore rupees.
Citizens who made property tax payments before July 31st were given discounts ranging from 5 to 10 percent. Furthermore, the Pune Municipal Corporation introduced a prize pool of up to one crore rupees for taxpayers who adhered to the payment deadline.
Municipal Commissioner Vikram Kumar disclosed that the prize distribution event is slated for the upcoming day. The rewards encompass a diverse selection of 45 prizes, such as automobiles, e-bikes, mobile devices, laptops, and more.
