Weather Update: IMD Issues Yellow Alerts for Multiple Districts Until May 24 Amid Early Monsoon Predictions

14 May 2024 – Rainfall was reported in the city and surrounding areas in the past three days, providing much-needed relief to Pune residents amid rising heat.
For the next four days, the Indian Meteorological Department has forecast rains with thunder and lightning for the city. There have been rains, strong gusty winds and lightning over the past few days. Along with Pune, Ratnagiri and Sindhudurg have been alerted for rainfall.
The weather forecasting department informed that till May 17 the sky would mainly remain clear becoming partly cloudy sky towards afternoon/evening with development of
thunder, lightning and rain very likely.
