Pune: The metro feeder bus service has been positively received by commuters. The Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) has initiated this service to facilitate the transportation of passengers to and from metro stations in Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad city.
Furthermore, there has been a surge in the frequency of bus trips on the designated route, which has garnered favourable feedback from passengers.
As a result, the revenue, passenger count, and utilization of the existing metro feeder bus service routes have witnessed a significant increase.

Currently, there are a total of 26 buses in operation at the metro station in Pune, where there is a significant fluctuation in passenger traffic and 4 buses in the Pimpri-Chinchwad section.
The current bus route in operation is Metro Shuttle no. 37. However, due to a low response from passengers on this route, the PMPML has decided to change the route to Pimpri Metro Station, which will be effective from 11/10/2023, and will now terminate at Akurdi Railway Station.
Furthermore, with the commencement of the metro service up to Ramwadi, the PMPML is planning to initiate a feeder bus service from Ramwadi metro station to the airport, utilizing e-buses.
The corporation will provide frequent buses to cater to the needs of the passengers. PMPML has appealed to commuters to take advantage of the feeder bus service provided by the corporation.
