In a significant step towards enhancing disaster management, the Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) has approved a ₹150 crore project to develop fire and disaster management centers at 10 critical locations. This initiative aims to provide rapid assistance during emergencies, strengthening the safety and security of citizens across the region.

Key Locations Where Fire Stations And Disaster Management Centres Will Come Up: 

The centers will be established in strategic areas, including Daund, Shikrapur, Kanhe, Dive, Patan, Mahalunge, Yevalewadi, Vadachiwadi, Autadewadi, Handewadi, and Lonikalbhor, ensuring quicker response times and efficient disaster management in these vulnerable zones.
