Pune: The eve of India’s Independence Day witnessed a disconcerting occurrence in Pune as two individuals were apprehended for raising provocative slogans of ‘Pakistan Zindabad’from Kondhwa. The Pune Police swiftly responded to the situation, arresting the individuals responsible for raising the controversial slogans.
In a disheartening turn of events, two security guards employed at construction sites in the Kondhwa area were reported to have chanted ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ slogans on the eve of Independence Day. This alarming act of incitement has drawn significant attention from local authorities. The Pune Police promptly took stringent action against the accused, reflecting their commitment to maintaining law and order in the city.
Santosh Sonawane, senior police inspector, Kondhwa Police station informed that the persons have been arrested.
