Pune: Power Supply To Remain Suspended In Several Areas On February 5.
Pune | February 4, 2026: The Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL/Mahavitaran) has announced a planned power shutdown in parts of Pune under the Parvati Division on Thursday, February 5, 2026, to carry out essential maintenance and repair work.
According to Mahavitaran officials, electricity supply from the 22/11 kV Navipeth feeder, 22/11 kV Takshashila feeder, 11 kV Tarun Bharat feeder, and 11 kV Vitthalwadi feeder will remain suspended from 10:30 am to 5:30 pm.
Due to this shutdown, power supply will be affected in several localities, including Journalists’ Bhavan, Phatak Baug Society, Senadatta Police Chowki, Shri Sainagar, Lokmanya Nagar, Rajendra Nagar, Ganjwe Chowk, New English School area, Rambag Colony, Sadashiv Peth, Kumthekar Road, Perugate, Wadia Hospital area, Shukrawar Peth, Budhwar Peth, Faraskhana, Jogeshwari, Laxmi Road, Shrinath Theatre, Bajirao Road and surrounding areas.
Other affected areas include Tilak Road, Telephone Exchange, Chimnya Baug, S.P. College, Phule Mandai, Suyash Hotel vicinity, Hatti Ganpati, Bharatanatyam Mandir, Bharati Vidyapeeth Bhavan, Vaikunth Smashanbhoomi, Navipeth, Poona Hospital, JSPM College, Zilla College, Narhegaon, Bhumkar Chowk, Abhinav College, Swaminarayan Temple, Pari Company Chowk, Ashtavinayak Industrial Area, Dhayari and adjoining localities.
Power supply will also remain disrupted in parts of Shukrawar Peth, vegetable market areas, Badami Haud, Kala Haud Chowk, Prestige Point, Chinchechi Talim, Seva Mitra Mandal Chowk, areas near Madhukar Hospital, Dhanlaxmi Mahalaxmi Society, Ekta Nagari, Anand Nagar, Santosh Hall Chowk, Janata Vasahat (lanes 50 to 109), Chuna Bhatti (lane 122), Shankar Temple area, Ram Temple vicinity, and Waghjai Temple surroundings.
Mahavitaran has appealed to consumers in the affected areas to take note of the scheduled power outage and cooperate during the maintenance period. The utility has assured that supply will be restored promptly after completion of the work.
