Due to the implementation of the Stamp Duty Amnesty Scheme (Abhay Yojana) by the State Government, a large number of applications are being filed by the citizens in the Registration and Controller of Stamps Office in Pune city.
In order to get the documents needed for the completion of applications quickly, the registration and stamp duty department is saying that no new documents will be registered during the period from 15 to 31 January. Haveli 1 and Haveli 2 offices will remain closed during this period.
It was said that giving application copies to the citizens as well as Abhay Yojana (Amnesty Scheme) work will continue in these two offices.
Giving more information in this regard, an official of the District
Registration and Controller of Stamps Office Pune said that in order to not let citizens face inconvenience, the weekly holidays of Haveli No. 21, 22 and 23 offices will be canceled and registration will continue in these three offices on that day. These three offices will continue to operate on Monday and Tuesday as well.
