Pune : Sales of PMPML discount passes soars by 33 percent till July
PMPML plans extra buses to Dehugaon on occasion of ‘Tukaram Beej’ Sohala

Pune: The sales of concessional passes of Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Ltd (PMPML) have increased by 33 per cent. As per information, PMPML provides passes to school students, senior citizens and municipal employees.
As per information, the public transportation service is provided by PMPML within Pune, Pimpri Chinchwad and PMRDA limits. An average of 10 to 12 lakh passengers travel through PMPML every day. In view of the difficulties faced by the passengers in getting tickets every day, a total of 10 types of passes are being issued through PMPML from a total of 57 pass centers. It includes senior citizens, school students, common citizens & municipal schools.

Pune Pulse tried to contact the relevant PMPML official but couldn’t connect. It is worthy to note that the passes are being made available at discounted rates to various groups such as students. It is seen that this pass is getting the preference of the citizens.
