The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has advised citizens to avoid direct sun exposure during peak hours and stay hydrated to prevent heat-related illnesses. There may be some respite ahead — the IMD forecasts partly cloudy skies beginning Monday, April 21, which could bring marginal relief from the scorching conditions.
