Pune: Temporary Ban On Platform Ticket Sales At Central Railway Stations
In anticipation of a heavy rush during the upcoming Mahaparinirvan Divas at Mumbai on 06.12.2024. Central Railway will imposed temporary restrictions on the sale of platform tickets at select major station. This step aims to manage crowding on platforms and ensure smooth passenger movement within station premises.
The restriction of Sale of Platform Ticket is Effective from 02.12.2024 to 09.12.2024.
Platform ticket sales will restricted at the following stations:
*Mumbai division : Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, Dadar, Thane and Kalyan.Â
Bhusawal Division: Badnera, Akola, Nandura, Murtijapur, Shegaon, Malkapur, Bhusawal, Jalgaon, Pachora, Chalisgaon, Manmad, and Nasik.
Nagpur Division: Nagpur and Wardha.
Pune Division: Pune.
Solapur Division: Solapur.Â
Exemptions:
Senior Citizens and those with medical needs are exempted from these restrictions to ensure ease of travel.
Passengers are requested to plan accordingly and adhere to the new regulations for a smooth and safe travel experience during the this period.
