Pune: Thergaon Residents Demand Enhanced Security Measures Amid Robbery Incidents
A spate of robberies has sent shockwaves through Thergaon, with the latest incident occurring on December 18 at Ganga Medows Society. CCTV footage revealed four robbers involved in the crime. Similar incidents and attempts have been reported at Samarth Karina Society and Royal Castle, highlighting the need for improved security in the area.
In response to these incidents, delegates from 48+ societies, representing the Thergaon Development Foundation, visited the Kalewadi police station and Wakad police station on December 21. They appealed to the authorities to enhance security measures, ensuring the safety and well-being of Thergaon residents.
The Thergaon Development Foundation has urged the police to increase patrols, particularly in areas prone to criminal activity. Residents are also being encouraged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the authorities.
As the community comes together to demand improved security, the Thergaon Police has assured residents that they will take necessary measures to prevent such incidents in the future.
