A daring theft occurred in the night at Balaji Textiles, a cloth shop near Kesnand Gram Panchayat, with thieves making off with ₹3.8 lakh in cash. The incident was caught on the shop’s CCTV cameras, which recorded the thieves breaking into the shop and fleeing with the stolen money.

According to Sagar Ram Mali, the 24-year-old owner of Balaji Textiles, the thieves broke the shutters of the shop and stole the cash from the street. Mali filed a complaint with the police, who have registered a case of theft. The Wagholi police are currently conducting further investigation into the matter.

The CCTV footage is expected to aid the police in identifying the thieves and tracking them down. This incident highlights the need for increased security measures in commercial areas, especially at night. Similar incidents of theft have been reported in the region, including a recent case where cash and ornaments worth ₹4.6 lakh were stolen from a trader’s home.
