Pune Traffic Police Announce Traffic Diversions Ahead Of Amit Shah’s Visit On July 4

Pune, July 3, 2025: In view of a Very Very Important Person (VVIP) visit to the city, the Pune Traffic Police have issued temporary traffic regulations to ensure smooth and secure vehicular movement in certain areas on July 4. Union Home Minister Amit Shah is slated to visit Pune city on July 4 to inaugurate and lay the foundation of many projects.
According to the order issued by Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Himmat Jadhav, traffic adjustments will be enforced in the Bund Garden, Kalepadal, Kondhwa, and Bharati Vidyapeeth traffic divisions.
In the Bund Garden traffic division, the one-way stretch between Mor Odha, Circuit House Chowk, and IB Chowk will temporarily be made two-way as per operational requirements.
Additionally, from 12 PM to 5 PM on July 4, all goods transport vehicles—including dumpers, mixers, trucks, heavy and slow-moving vehicles—will be prohibited on the stretch between Mantarwadi Phata, Khadi Machine Chowk, and Katraj Chowk.
The traffic department has appealed to citizens and commuters to cooperate with the changes and use alternative routes during the specified timings to avoid inconvenience.
