Pune traffic police issues provisional orders regarding changes in parking arrangements

Pune : Temporary orders have been issued to change the parking system in Wanowrie, Mundhwa, Hadapsar, Yerawada, Bharti Vidyapeeth, and Deccan by the traffic department in Pune city for safe and smooth flow of traffic.

As per further information, under Wanowrie Traffic Department, parking is being done on the left side (about 200 meters) of the road leading from Jambhulkar Chowk to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Statue (Divya Nagar) and no parking on the right side of the road (about 200 meters).

Under the Mundhwa, Hadapsar traffic department, entry of all types of heavy vehicles is prohibited from both sides on the entire road from Jahangir Chowk to the railway flyover on Magarpatta Road. Jahangir Chowk-Tadigutta Chowk-Mundhwa Road should use this alternative road to Mundhwa Junction and onwards to the desired destination.

Under Yerawada Traffic Division, no parking should be done for 200m on the left side from the start of Golf Over Bridge (Bafna Hardware Shop) to Golf Club Chowk while going from Gunjan Chowk to Golf Club Chowk and from Golf Club Chowk to Golf Club Chowk to the end of Golf Over Bridge (Yewle Tea Shop). 200 meters no parking is being done on the left side.

Under Bharati Vidyapeeth Traffic Department, there is no parking up to 400 meters on both sides on the eastern service road from Swaminarayan Over Bridge to Dari Bridge on Mumbai Bangalore National Highway 48. A no-parking zone is being established for all types of vehicles within 100 meters on the east side of the road in front of the Hemi Park A, B, C, and D Cooperative Housing Society.

Under the Deccan Transport Department, between Pawar Bungalow and Anand Bhawan on Kamla Nehru Park to PYC Hindu Gymkhana road, no parking on both sides of the road, while P-1, P-2 parking is allowed between Sanjivan Bungalow in the south and Nirmal Bungalow in the north and Dani Bungalow in the north and Datar Netra Clinic.

If there are any suggestions and objections of citizens regarding this temporary order regarding traffic changes, they should be reported in writing to the office of the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Traffic Control Branch, Yerawada Post Office, Bungalow No. 6, Jail Road, Pune by November 19. After considering the suggestions and objections of the citizens and excluding the essential service vehicles, the final orders will be issued regarding the change in traffic.

Under Mundhwa Traffic Department, vehicles coming from Hadapsar Railway Station side are given no entry from Hotel Bottle Forest to Tadigutta Chowk and vehicles are allowed to go to Hadapsar Railway Station from Tadigutta Chowk. Alternative routes can be taken from the east side of Hotel Bottle Forest or in front of Hotel Spicy Ghorpadi Road and turn left straight to Tadigutta Chowk. According to this temporary order, suggestions and objections should be reported in written form by November 20, Deputy Commissioner of Pune Traffic Police Vijay Kumar Magar has informed.
