Pune: Traffic Diversions At Swargate For Smooth Bus Operations During Election Work
To ensure smooth traffic flow and public safety, the Pimpri Chinchwad Police Traffic Department has announced restrictions in connection with the inauguration program of ‘Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana’ attended by the Chief Minister of Maharashtra State.
From 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM on August 17, access to the service road from Radha Chowk near Balewadi Stadium to Mula River Bridge will be restricted for all types of vehicles, except event vehicles and essential service vehicles. Additionally, heavy vehicles (excluding scheduled passenger buses) will be allowed to enter between Bantara Bhawan and Vibgyor School.
Deputy Commissioner of Police, Traffic Branch, Vishal Gaikwad, has issued these orders under the Motor Vehicles Act, citing the need to prevent traffic congestion and ensure public safety.
The restrictions aim to minimize disruptions and facilitate a smooth experience for attendees and residents. Motorists are advised to plan their routes accordingly and cooperate with traffic authorities to ensure a successful event.”
