Pune: Dive Ghat Road To Remain Closed For Two Hours On March 5 Due To Blasting For Road Widening
Pune, February 4, 2026: The Indian National Highways Authority has issued an important advisory regarding traffic restrictions on the Alandi–Pandharpur Palkhi Highway.
As part of the road widening work at Dive Ghat, blasting will be carried out on the Hadapsar to Dive Ghat stretch on Wednesday, February 5, 2026.
Owing to the blasting activity, vehicular movement on this stretch will remain completely closed from 11 am to 2 pm.
Commuters and motorists have been advised to plan their travel accordingly and use alternative routes during the specified period to avoid inconvenience.
The National Highways Authority has appealed to citizens to cooperate with the authorities, stating that the temporary traffic disruption is necessary to ensure faster and safer completion of the highway widening project.
