Pune Traffic Update: Temporary Route Changes On Airport Road, Baner, And Kharadi Areas
Pune: Major Traffic Diversions In City On August 1 For Annabhau Sathe Jayanti Celebrations
Pune: To ease congestion in key areas of Pune, temporary traffic changes will be implemented from Wednesday (March 12). Commuters are advised to use alternative routes, according to Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Amol Zende.
Traffic Changes in Pune Airport Area:
To reduce congestion at Symbiosis Law College Chowk:
- Vehicles traveling from Pune Airport towards Ramwadi on New Airport Road are prohibited from turning right at Symbiosis Law College Chowk.
Alternative Route:
- Motorists should take a U-turn at Dorabjee Mall Chowk or use Airport Chowk via Petrol Satha Chowk to reach their destination.
Traffic Changes In Baner Area:
To reduce congestion at Mahabaleshwar Hotel Chowk, Savitribai Phule Pune University, and Pashan Road:
- Vehicles heading to the university via Baner-Pashan Link Road should turn left, take a U-turn near 45 Icon IT Company, and proceed via Mahabaleshwar Hotel Chowk.
- Vehicles traveling from Baner village to Baner-Pashan Link Road should take a U-turn at Mauli Petrol Pump, return to Mahabaleshwar Hotel Chowk, and proceed via Baner-Pashan Link Road.
Traffic Changes in Kharadi Area:
- Vehicles traveling via Kharadi Bypass are prohibited from turning right at Kharadi Dargah Chowk towards Kharadi village or Yuan IT Park.
Alternative Route:
- Motorists should continue 250 meters ahead from Kharadi Bypass Chowk, take a U-turn near “Aaple Ghar” bus stop, and then turn left at Kharadi Dargah Chowk to reach their destination.
These changes aim to streamline traffic flow and reduce congestion in these high-traffic areas.
