Pune, 31 October 2025: A Medical Delegation of 03 Army Officers of the United Arab Emirates visited the Armed Forces Center for Computational Medicine (AFCCM), Pune
A Medical Delegation of 03 Army Officers of the United Arab Emirates visited the Armed Forces Center for Computational Medicine (AFCCM), Dept of Medical Research at Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune, on 30 October 2025.
The delegation was headed by Colonel Saeed Mohammed Abdulla Alardi Alnuaimi, and was received by Maj Gen Atul Seth, Vishisht Seva Medal, Dean & Deputy Commandant, AFMC Pune.
The officers were briefed on the achievements of the college in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI) / machine learning (ML) in healthcare, as well as provided a glimpse of cutting edge research in the field.
A hand on coding session was organised for the officers as well for an immersive experience into the frontiers of healthcare technology.
In addition, a tour of the AFMC campus was conducted for the Officers. At the end of the visit, the Officers interacted with Lt Gen Pankaj P Rao, Director & Commandant, AFMC Pune.
