Pune : Unidentifed men steal LPG gas from Hindustan Petroleum’s pipeline in Shikrapur : probe on

Pune: An attempt was made to steal gas by breaking a gas pipeline and punching holes in it. The pipeline passes from Uran to Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited at Chakan Shikrapur.
The incident took place on Saturday, August 26 between 8 am and 4:30 pm near Shinde village in Khed taluka near Photan Company.
As per information, the LPG gas pipeline of the company Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited has come from Uran to the company located in Chakan Shikrapur. On Saturday, some unidentified men tried to steal gas by tapping the pipeline and installing a valve on its front side near Photan Company in Shinde village.
The complainant, Shivshankar Venkatarao Maski, has filed a complaint at Mahalunge MIDC Police Station. Accordingly, a case has been registered against the accused. Mahalunge MIDC police are investigating the matter further.
