The Wanawadi Police Station has successfully recovered 45 mobile phones worth a total of ₹ 6,25,000 that were reported lost by citizens while traveling or at various locations within its jurisdiction. Complaints regarding these lost mobile handsets were filed online at the Wanawadi Police Station and on the CEIR portal. These recovered cellphones were returned to the citizens by the police officials. 

Through technical analysis of the missing devices, the police were able to contact the individuals currently using these lost phones. The recovered mobiles have since been returned to the respective complainants, who expressed their happiness and gratitude towards the police for the successful recovery.

The Pune Police have urged citizens to immediately report any lost mobiles on the Pune Police website under the “Lost and Found” section, as well as on the government’s CEIR portal.

This operation was conducted under the guidance of Police Deputy Commissioner R. Raja and Deputy Police Commissioner Dhananjay Godse, with the support of Senior Police Inspector Of Wanawadi Police Station Sanjay Patange, Inspector (Crimes) Govind Jadhav, and the investigative team members, including Sub-Inspector Sanjay Adling and several others.
