After February 21, clear skies are predicted that will drop Pune’s minimum temperature by two to three degrees Celsius. This occurs as active western disturbances are predicted to bring moderate to light rains to parts of North India over the next few days.

Due to clear skies that have increased heat over the city, Pune’s minimum temperatures have nearly reached the 20 degree Celsius mark. Winter chills have disappeared from the city, with maximum temperatures also rising above 32–33 degrees. Pune has been having an exceptionally warm winter due to above-average temperatures.

But starting on February 21, Pune will experience colder days, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). The minimum temperature would drop by two to three degrees, and the maximum temperature would drop by one to two degrees due to cloudy skies and the incursion of cold winds from the northern parts of the country. IMD has excluded any temperature drop for the next three days.

Up until February 20, Pune would experience hazy morning skies and cloudy skies. The city’s minimum and maximum temperatures would remain unchanged as a result. Things would be different after February 21.

Rain is expected to fall in the north and central regions of the country over the next few days due to the western disturbance, which consists of cold, moisture-carrying winds. The western disturbance is causing moderate to light showers, according to IMD.
