Pune Weather Update : SW Monsoon weaker in Gangetic West Bengal

Pune, August 21 : The Southwest Monsoon has been subdued over Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha, Jharkhand, Bihar, east Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu-Kashmir, Ladakh, Saurashtra, Kutch, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Kerala, said India Meteorological Department on Monday.
Thunderstorm occurred at isolated sections over Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam during past 24 hours.
Rain or thundershowers had pummeled at most places in Arunachal Pradesh, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, and at many sites in Konkan and Goa during the period.
They had lashed at a few segments in Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Uttarakhand, east Rajasthan, west Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Gujarat Region, Madhya Maharashtra, coastal Karnataka and Lakshadweep during the period. They had hit at isolated locations in Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha, Jharkhand, Bihar, east & west Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu-Kashmir, Ladakh, west Rajasthan, east Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Saurashtra, Kutch, Marathwada, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Rayalseema, Tamil Nadu, Interior Karnataka, Kerala and Andaman & Nicobar Islands during the period.
