Mythri Movie Makers, the production house, took to X (formerly Twitter) on Friday to address the rumors, reiterating their commitment to offering audiences a true cinematic experience.
The makers confirmed that Pushpa 2 would not be available on OTT platforms for at least 56 days after its theatrical release. Fans lauded this decision, with one saying, “Pushpa2TheRule deserves the big screen experience. Let’s keep the wildfire alive.
The film, initially released on December 5, will feature an additional 18 minutes of footage and is set to return to theaters on December 25, creating a “Christmas feast” for fans.
